Come! Write with me at The Big Story Writer’s Retreat!

Kick off the new year with a four day writing retreat in Ojai, California. We’ll be taking a deep dive into narrative voice, memory, and structure. Daily writing sprints and peer workshops will keep you on-task. Plus, we’ll have one-on-one time to really get into what you are working on.

We’re going to be working at the Twin Peaks campus at the Turtle Conservancy in Ojai, CA. This 90-acre property focuses on conserving various species of turtles and tortoises. I can’t think of a better place for a deep focus on writing.

From Breakdown to Breakthrough

The retreat is from January 21 to 25, 2026 and the retreat has a limit of 10 participants.  Be ready to write and learn and work with other writers in peer workshops that are specially designed the help you get to a breakthrough on your work.
